1979 Sebring Edition

The Sebring Edition was produced in 1979 to celebrate Porsche's success at Sebring. Like the preceding Martini Edition, it was mainly a cosmetic/appearance package. This lovely example is owned by Michael P. McWilliams Sr.

As can be seen in the pictures, the Sebring was red, with a stripe package and rims painted black with polished lips (like the better-known Fuchs and "cookie-cutters"). The interior sported some really hot (for the period) plaid fabric inlays. Note large "924" sticker on the front:
